Delhi Kendriya Vidyalaya


Delhi Kendriya Vidyalaya refer to the chain of Central schools of Delhi. Kendriya Vidyalaya schools in Delhi are located all over the state. These Kendriya Vidyalayas in Delhi are operated by the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan. The Delhi Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan is an independent body which was formed by the Education ministry of the Government of India. The formation of this body was recommended in the Second Pay Commission.

The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan in the Delhi region was founded in 1977. Mr. M.L. Khosla was the first assistant commissioner of this region.

At present, there are about 75 Kendriya Vidyalayas in Delhi. The current assistant commissioner of Delhi region Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan is Dr. Shachikant.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Schools of Delhi are situated all over the state. Some of these schools are listed below:

The aim of Delhi Kendriya Vidyalaya is to provide quality senior secondary and secondary education and to ensure the all round development of every student.
