American Embassy School

American Embassy School New Delhi is one of the premier schools of Delhi imparting quality education to every child. This school is a coeducational, independent day school, which offer education from Preschool to +2 level. Dr. Robert Hetzel is the director of this school.

At present, the New Delhi American Embassy school enrolls more than 42 nationalities. The school's organization is governed by a Board of Governors, which constitute of 7 members. These members are elected by American Embassy School Association of New Delhi, the official sponsor of this school elected for a term of two years. The United States Ambassador can appoint two members.

In the academic year of 2006 to 2007, the school included 20 part time and 130 full time faculty members. The total number of enrollment in the same academic year was 1,184 pupils.

U.S curriculum is followed in the American Embassy School of New Delhi and all instructions are given in English. The testing program of the school includes American college and College Board Testing tests. Foreign languages like Spanish and French are taught in this school.
